The South Carolina Muscle Car Society is underway! With membership growing, and 4 cruises under our belt, we are proving to be a force to be reckoned with. This is the start of our website and open forum. Feel free to discuss anything SCMCS related here and be sure to check back for upcoming events!

Hi Brett, When Beth and I saw you at Santa Fe I thought you said there was a run tonight - August 18. Is that right? Please let me know if that's right and when and where? Lui
Did you also say that you are looking for muscle cars from 60's and 70's to be part of the runs?

Hey Brett,
I appreciate everyone sticking around
later on Monday evening, while I went to get my AMX. I told my wife Anne about the SCMCS club and we check out the web site. We both think its really cool. I really enjoyed talking with everyone as well.
Look forward to hooking up with everyone on the next run.

Alright Mr. Myers, it's time for you to join the club and make Shannon and Reamus a triple legacy of bowtie bad-assedness! I had the pleasure of meeting Reamus and his Mad Maxed out Camaro. I almost love the "work in progress-beaters" more than the show cars, but either way i love runnin 'em together. Come on Mr. Myers, it's your destiny, the SCMCS wants YOU!

The Z28 run was awesome. We loved the drive!
One complaint, though. Did anyone else notice the clueless old man in The Volvo who just didn't get what was going on? He did 1/3 of the run, and wouldn't leave the line. He even stopped on the cross island when we did!
It's on the video. He's right behind my '06 GTO.
With all the mechanics in the club, can't we invent a big spatula or something to "flip" guys like that out of the way? Just an idea...........

Oh good gracious m'am, my sincerest apologies! I could'a swore your boy said "Reamus" and I figured someone named "Pat" with a 78 Monte had to be a dude. Well, now that Im eating my hat with a foot in my mouth, do you think there would be anyway that you would like to come out to one of our cruises and drive with the SCMCS? By the way, I would just like to commend you on doing such a wonderful job raising two well mannered young men with a healthy love of the American pushrod V8. :) Family values....now that's even more American than a household full of Bowties!

Hey the aforementioned scofflaw wasn't me, was it?
I shut my traction control on a U-Turn.....and unleashed the FIE-YAH!!.
But I swear, I never went over 50......

Ken, great minds think alike. I began to realize this would be a problem after out last cruise. Our next cruise will be announced on Tuesday (and dont hold me to it) but i believe it will be a back to back sat/sun event with some fundraising thrown in. Nov 7,8th i believe, but keep checking the site.

Great more cruises. For selfish reasons I hope not 11/7 weekend. MCA @ Low Cnty Must. Club Show in Charleston for our Club, then I'm working Sun...darn. Any weekend after 11/7 I'll be there bangin' shifter & exhaust pipes roaring.
